The customers are requested to check the books immediately after receipt of their order for any misprint, damage or missing of pages.
Books purchased from sales.iias.org that are requested for return within 30 days of dispatch are eligible for full refund, deducting the freight charges as applicable. However If there is misprint or page missing in the books, the order will be replaced subject to condition that the customer have to intimate within 48 hours through email on this address (email@example.com).
The books that have been purchased from our Institute/souvenirs shop at Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Rashtrapati Niwas, Shimla – 171005, India, cannot be returned online.
Customers are requested to accept the conditions placed by us before proceeding with the return.
The customer will be informed via e-mail about the refund once we have received and processed the returned item.
Items can be returned if they are in the original condition.

Books that are purchased online from sales.iias.org can be refunded subject to certain conditions.
The customer will receive the refund for the shipping charges also, if the return is a result of our error. We do not replace or exchange the books have been purchased. Our customer can only receive the refund. Moreover, can only return items that have been received.
A request for return has to be submitted within 30 days of dispatch of the items. The customer will obtain the refund in the same form of payment used to purchase the books by the customer, within Seven days of our receiving the returns.
